Android 1 (, Jinzōningen Ichi) is an invisible character from the Dragon Ball franchise. It was created by Dr. Gero, the chief scientist of the Red Ribbon Army, to serve the army but malfunctioned. Major Metallitron was the first android introduced in the series, but it was not part of the numbered series.
Super 17 is probably the most powerful android in the entire series, created by merging Android 17 and Hellfighter 17.Goku's Super Android 13 dies when he transforms into his Super Saiyan form and absorbs the energy of the Spirit Bomb.
